Multnomah County Republican Party (MCRP) Announces New Slate of Officers
And Focuses On Fiscally Conservative Message

Portland, OR -

Multnomah County Republican Party (MCRP) had a highly productive year for in 2010. New Chairman Jeff Reynolds, a veteran of the Tea Party movement in Oregon, vows that the next two years will be even more successful and expressed gratitude at the responsibility with which he was entrusted. “I am honored to be joined by a large and very strong team of fiscal conservatives who will fill out our slate of officers and our committees where the real work will be done. Our vision for the next two years, ahead of the 2012 Presidential election cycle, is to expand our volunteer base, voter registration, voter outreach and voter education. I have seen how our message of fiscal responsibility has already made a difference, even among voters in Multnomah County, and I am confident that the more our message gets out, the more the voters will be influenced.”

The Multnomah County Republican Party has decided to spend the next two years building relationships with other Conservative grassroots groups at the county and state level. By achieving a sense of unity and cohesiveness, the MCRP hopes to recruit even more volunteers in the upcoming election cycle. MCRP will also focus on achieving fiscal accountability in Multnomah County. The county GOP will confront the out of control spending, lack of transparency and cronyism at Portland City Hall and throughout the layers of county government. 

Oregonians were reminded this past election that Multnomah County holds the key to statewide elections in our state. Your new leadership team has a vision and a plan for how to channel the ongoing energy generated at the national level and contribute to turning Oregon RED.
